WORKINGTON • WEST CUMBRIA
About Us
We’re a new home for ambitious businesses in the heart of Workington. Backed by £23.1 million of Workington’s Town Investment Plan, backed by £23.1m of UK Government funding. Our building is owned by Cumberland Council and managed by Oxford Innovation Space.
Our Story, So Far
Workington Innovation Centre opened its doors as part of Workington’s wider regeneration, a joint effort between Cumberland Council and UK Government funding to bring new opportunity to the town centre. Across four floors and over 18,000 sq ft, we’ve built a space where local businesses can take root, connect with each other and grow with proper support behind them.
Why choose us?
More than a place to work
We know that growing a business takes more than four walls and a desk. That’s why every business at Workington Innovation Centre gets access to hands-on support, from advice and coaching, to workshops and networking events.
As part of Oxford Innovation Space, you’ll gain access to a wider network of businesses across the UK and Ireland, plus The Wire, our online community platform. Wherever you’re starting from, you won’t be doing it alone.
